I tried putting in the game... but it wouldn't start up... so I took it out.. and it SLIPPED out, I didn't even have to apply any force to the game.

Edit: It works =] I'm a very happy person.

If you live in the USA, "bare" second hand N64 units are really cheap there.
You can get one for arround 10 dollar (or even less) plus shipping.
What you get is a bare console: no cables, no controllers, no power supply... NO JUMPER OR EXPANSION PAK. But since you already have all of these...

I got my NTSC unit that way, along with a second hand copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day (rare PAL version is really expensive).

It's a shame to hear about your console's demise, AC67. I've had mine for a very long time, and am thankful that it still works. I actually have a picture of me holding the box when I got it for Christmas on my desk. It's funny, because I still have the original box, so you can tell it is exactly the same one by the tear mark where the price sticker once was.

Hopefully you can get another one soon. It isn't like they're impossible to find or really expensive, so I'm sure you'll be back to playing PD in no time. Wink

Thanks Wreck and all. But this is going to be very embarrasing. I had it on the wrong imput aha.

But still, I'm not sure why it would just slip out like that, maybe the pixils on the card reader were slightly off balance?

AND YOU STILL HAVE THE BOX? L0L!!

Anyways, I showed my dad some of the PD Mysteries, he was suprised by alot, as well as myself.

It lives?! Shocked
Yeah, I usually keep most of the boxes of anything game related. I still have some SNES game packages, but most of them have been flattened down to save space. I still kick myself for getting rid of the old, old PlayStation box. It looked like crap and had been scratched pretty badly by a cat, so it wasn't even worth keeping. Still, nostalgia and all that. If I can get the pic of me with the N64 scanned, maybe I'll stick it up somewhere.

lol xD I haven't used a game shark in about 4 years. It broke. I can't really recall the menu screen either. But I'm deffinatly getting a new one because I want to test these codes etc on the actual N64 to get the real experience of it besides a emulator.

The GameShark seriously helped to make GoldenEye into my favourite game of all time. If we never had cheating devices on the N64, I doubt many of us would even be on this forum today.

I like Gameshark codes for PD but it is so much dang harder to use codes on cus sometimes you may pick a Gameshark code for Pd without the Pak.
