texture's don't need a 1:1 pixel aspect ratio since that will depend on how you apply them onto surfaces through UV mapping, so don't feel restricted to keep the proportions that the textures seem to suggest.
but anyway, I wonder if that model you are doing isn't a little too detailed for N64. |

If the texture is straight out of the ROM, than I'd guess it's whatever Rare did with the original image to get it to fit their head model. _________________

Yeah, I think I found my answer. I searched the net for pics of connery and his image has been altered to make it one of the 'standard' resolutions.
Ill need to resize the refrance-img and the model again.
Im too tired to do it now so Ill do it tomorrow...

Good thing you PM'd me, cause I had no clue that you made any updates to this. Sometimes it's good to make a new reply after editing something, otherwise it may go unnoticed.
I like the way the first "Alpha" model looks. Only thing I'm wondering is, how high of quality is the image you're working with? The model looks a bit pixelly. Considering how popular Bond is, it's strange how hard it is to find great pictures of the actors to work with. It's looking very promising though. _________________

Yeah, Im trying to use the textures already in goldeneye and re-work the brosnan model to better suit the features of connery. Ill try new images to see how they look, it there a maximum?

Only spammers get told about that. I double post all the time, this forum doesn't mark edits as new, so it's really easy to miss this stuff if it's not done in a new post. Anyway, it's looking pretty good so far. |

I that an export of an original GE head? My only concern is the amount of polygons. We should be very easily be able to import new head models though, they're quite simply, good idea~ |

Yes its Brosnans, possibly multiplayer, head. Guard004A.
I exported it on the rare occasion I got to use my dads laptop and the setup editor never crashed.
It would have been great to run it on here...
