I'm just curious about the simulants on GEX. Egyptian is fine, the the others, they just stand there? Why is that? |

Yes, this is an unfortunate problem at this time. Only mission stages had a path network setup for computer AI to follow. Without this network, the characters have no idea where they can go. In PD, this results in the simulant just standing in place. Until we build our own networks, which is more difficult than we'd like it to be, the multiplayer only maps from the original won't properly support sims. _________________

Path Network Included:
Facility, Bunker ii, Statue, Archives, Caverns, Cradle, and Egyptian.
Path Network Not Included:
Temple, Complex, Caves, and Library (Basement/Stack).
So, as you can see, most of them will be supported. They may require some adjustments (like Egyptian still does), or even heavier editing, but they will allow sims to navigate the stages. The others will need to be made from scratch. For Temple and Complex, we can use the PD "Classic" versions as guides. Caves and Library will be up to us to build on our own.
Edit: Just as an update for anyone who reads this, the Temple and Complex both have AI Path Networks constructed for them. The Temple seems to play extremely well, but there are some issues with ramps in Complex. I plan to correct these problems, and build a network for the Library in the near future. _________________
