*Stupid Alert*

Hallo guys. I am trying to put some cheats on Goldeneye but I fail every time. I understand that some cheats go to the cheat menu, others in-game and others in the mission menu. But I can't seem to success. I know that when the cheat is e.g. L+left, left is to the D-pad and not on the analog stick. Still, no success.
Can you PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong?
The only cheats I have unlocked are "DK mode" and "Magnum".

I think you need to do it fast like in 15 sec or so.

Most button push codes need to be activated in game on level where you are playing and they only last that level other button push codes like extra multi characters need to be inputted in multi character select menu ..at least thats how i remember ..its been nearly 10 years since i tried those and that extra multi characters code was not easy to input at all and i used to fail it more often than succeed so you just need to be fast in inputting them and practice them.

Site where you're looking for those cheats also states place where you need to input them so make sure its correct also. "DK Mode" and "Magnum" codes are from "speedrunning" levels althought I think Magnum is just from finishing Cradle but anyway you should find list for them and missions also show "Target Time" after you complete them and ones with target time have cheat to unlock. Theres also button push codes for those cheats but I dont really know if they're permanent or not.
