| When playing solo on the simulator, if you get hit by a combat knife (throwing), it doesn't poison you. However, If you get hit while controling a fly-by-wire rocket, you will get poisoned... |

Yeah, I was confused as to what you meant at first, myself. It sounded like you'd be poisoned by a Fly-By-Wire Rocket. Figured it may have been some weird emulation glitch, or a hacked ROM. After re-reading it, it seemed a little more clear. Seems odd that the poison effect doesn't work unless you're in control of a rocket, though. Did you check this multiple times to make sure?

Maybe poising others just works on sims or something...? I'm not sure...I have never really played Combat Simulator with anybody else (Everybody else I know is arrogant and they hate "Classic Shooters"), so I don't recall this ever happening to me. I'll experiment sometime, though. |
