Hey guys. I just got a Radeon 4650 1GB for my new computer and I'm pretty excited ^^
[Please note I am using a Athlon X4 2.9Ghz processor, so it will increase gameplay.]
Here are some gameplay benchmarks:
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Lowest - 50-60 frames easy.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Medium - Average 35 frames. No drop.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - High - 18-20 frames.
Company of Heroes - Lowest - 50-60 frames easy
Company of Heroes - Medium - 50-60 frames
Company of Heroes - High - 40-50 frames
Company of Heroes - Ultra - 40-50 frames
World of Warcraft - Low - 60 frames
World of Warcraft - Fair - 60 frames
World of Warcraft - Good - 60 frames
World of Warcraft - High - 60 frames
World of Warcraft - Ultra - 60 frames
Grand Theft Auto IV - Texture Low/Lowest - 50 frames easy
Grand Theft Auto IV - Texture High/Lowest - 50 frames
Medal of Honor - Low - 60-70 frames
Medal of Honor - Medium - 35-40
Medal of Honor - High/W AA - 35-40
Counter Strike: Source - Very High/Highest 8X AA - 230 Frames <[Holy god]
Alright then. More to come! (Quite an amazing gaming card.)
The graphics card and everyone said it needed a 400W power supply to run. Well, I'm running this on a 250W. No difference. So don't upgrade your power supply even if they tell you. Only when the card says "400W MINIMUM".
Windows Experience Index Score:
Gaming Graphics: 6.4
Windows Aero: 5.1 _________________

Oh yeah.
Guess what just came in the mail today? LAWL. I popped it in and played a few games. Post edited.
And Napal, it's only about 50 bucks. Nothin' big. It's an extremely good card though. _________________

The wattage on PSUs usually shouldn't be trusted (or rather, shouldn't be the only determining factor), but I have a feeling you're going to run into issues when that card's actually under load on something so far below the requirement. |

I was SO skeptic about running high graphics on games when I got this card, because I'm afraid of burning out my powersupply, AND getting Blue Screens and stuff like that.
But I've cranked a lot of games at Ultra.
I can't believe my eyes. _________________

What sort of games can you run with ease?
What about Modern warfare 2?
Try black ops when it comes out( If it will for pc) |

It can Max out any Call of Duty game. Call of Duty takes nothing to run. My 4200 and 4550 can max Modern Warfare 2 with 4X AA and get no lag. lol
I'm not sure about Black Ops. Well have to see.
P.S. DONT Rev up Grand Theft Auto to High settings with a 250W powersupply.
You'll end up unhooking your computer, taking about your graphics card, disappointingly looking at an empty PCI-Express slot, and turning it back on, and using your onboard for about 20 minutes.
[In other words, your powersupply will just fail and you will have to take your graphics card out and put it back in. It happened last night... althoguh it was no big deal]
Edit: And don't overclock to a very high MegaHertz on this powersupply... _________________

Might be purchasing a 4670 soon! Problem is, the card alone is 50 - 70 dollars, which I can afford, but I'll need a new powersupply, which will add up almost to 100 dollars!!!
D:: I'm not sure what to buy first. The PSU requirement for the graphics card is no different than my current GPU, but just in-case... Hm.. _________________

Get a 5770, its about £100 so in your money would be like 140$
From what my friends say, it's a really good card. _________________ Also known as Spyster or Nyxem

Hahaha, yeah, but I don't have the money, nor can EARN the money, and I've never installed a PSU before so I won't know what to do.. [Try running a 5770 on a 250W PSU? LOOOOL] and the card probably won't even fit in my case. [It probably will, just pointing out a stereotype on how those cards are gigantic ] _________________
