hello everybody after some month i decided to write my problems again ear in the forums xD.
no i was longer time in the ****** military, but now i´m back.
i have a problem with GE007. i´m sure everybody know it :
When i start a level, the prject64 crash. the game is allways getting slower and then it freez. then there comes the message "projet64 have detected an problem and must be shut down"
I use The original videoplugin.
Are there any special settings in Project 64 to fix that problem, or how is it.
would be great if you can help. it´s really crap and disturbing and costs nerves while testing levels (for my german goldenye i have translatet all, now i am testing it and i am testing archive right now)
thanks for any helps/tipps. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------

Ollllo here:
the only tip i can give you is that you may have a problem with your video card itself -
One machine we had always had crashes with Pj64 - Ultra hle was way too slow & i have never figured out the other emus.
also video card drivers seem to make Pj 64 work different -
some times the latest drivers make the game work fine , others all you get is a black screen -
in one machine we had to use old Nvidia drivers for GE to work well
Oldyz is on Vancation - those harry potter movies won't whatch themselves |

Have you made any adjustments to the custom ROM settings in PJ64? If you don't update them, the game will run really slowly, and could even end up crashing. If you haven't already, try using the following settings.
GoldenEye ROM PJ64 Settings...
CPU core style: Recompiler
Self-modifying code Method: Change Memory & Cache
Memory Size: 4 MB
Advanced Block Linking: On
Default Save type: Use First Used Save Type
Counter Factor: 2
Larger Compile Buffer: Checked
Register caching: Checked
SP Hack: Checked
Use TLB: Checked
Delay SI Interrupt: Unchecked
RSP Audio Signal: Unchecked _________________

Are you right-clicking on the ROM in the list of games in the PJ64 main window? If you do, there is an option that says "Edit Game Settings". You should be able to edit everything there.
If you just go to "Options" -> "Settings...", and go to "ROM Settings" tab, nothing will be selectable. Sounds like this might be what you're doing.
ALSO, make sure you have "Hide Advanced Settings" unchecked in the "Options" -> "Settings..." -> "Options" menu. Otherwise, the "Edit Game Settings" option won't even appear in the list. _________________

It works when i start a game.
Works great now. It would be greater if that would work with the rice video plugin 6.11. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------
