 This is EXACTLY my area!
Although they already used what would have been many of my choices (like the FAMAS, P90, WA2000, and TMP), I would like to see things like the FS2000, G36, UMP, maybe the KRISS, definitely the AUG... An Intervention might be a bit big, but some kind of bolt-action rifle might work... These seem to fit the game's style pretty well, I think. Things like AR's and AK's seem a bit too "conventional", although there are many current pistols that would fit right in, like the P99.
Also, I like anything with a suppressor

Maybe upgradeable guns, or at least modular ones, in the same style as Metal Gear Solid 4. I reeeeally liked purchasing items and reconfiguring my hardware
