repeating this because it applies to a bunch of levels in the game
One thing we have always enjoyed (oldyz, fumbles & I) - since Star wars Shadows of the empire (level: Gall Spaceport)-

it to see an enemy fall to his death after being pushed/shot -
It is especially enjoyable if the said enemy is Human -
if this level is available for VR/combat simulator, it is imperative that pits & chasms throughout the GE levels become instruments of destruction -

Both Wreck and I feel like that pits don't add anything to the level, and really just frustrate the player, so they likely will be used few and far between in GE:X.
If an enemy falls manages to fall into one they probably will head down to oblivion though. |

Ollo here:
is there a way to make the VR/combat simulator versions of the levels different in that regard?
after all, frustrating human opponents is part of the fun

i guess pits chasms & such are not so hard to edit (remove the invisible wall clipping)
If say ,Trevor or Oldyz or me create a patch with such deadly hazards would it be featured as an download alternative @ the vault?

If somebody wants to extract the level files from the modded ROM, make a Project in the Perfect Editor, remove the tiles from the edges, possibly have to clip the walls that lead down, also may need to tweak the AI Path Network to allow guards to potentially fall off (or not fall off all the time), re-import them, test it out, and make a new patch... that's fine. Just be sure it's well known that the version has been edited by others to allow death drops. _________________

since you seem to favor realism of the pits & chasms i think the next best option was you, but it does seem like a tricky task indeed...

the "vancation" is workation -
the poor soul wants a good computer so he is collecting money for it -
he is on vancation from "hacking" but you'd be happy to know he made a brief come-back to help me make Donkey Kong Country's 3D dramatization
