Don't even bother. January of last year I was on constantly (PD) but it just grew old. Highly doubt there is more than 1 person online in multiplayer at one time now adays. _________________

I'll play soon enough! It's never a bad idea and a couple new players via Xbox Live is great. Need some time soon, but I'll be there in matchmaking! |

Everytime I go on, there only seems to be one person on at a time - and that's usually with about a 30 min wait! I was fortunate enough to have two players at one point! |

Three things killed the PD XBLA online multiplayer:
1. No parties in matchmaking
2. Bad gametypes (The "Hardcore" playlist that they added has shields! Plus, what's with forcing Player Highlights on?)
3. No custom game browser (Big games like Halo can keep going without it, but the smaller ones demand it)
The devs clearly had no idea what they were doing when they "ported" PD. Even though Ken Lobb claimed that the C-buttons were getting mapped directly onto the right stick, they didn't include the old 1.1 "legacy" controls at launch (which even Halo: Reach has, not to mention southpaw & legacy southpaw), then when it got patched in, the quick select and sniper rifle zoom ended up broken because they swapped the stick axes without any testing!
And the manual aim NEVER felt right, even after fiddling with the slider...
