Hello everyone at shootersforever. I decided to post this topic since no one on here has said anything about it.

Anyway to help you all understand this more. Sopa or long term (Stop Online Piracy Act) is a new law that might be starting in America. This law will be blocking all sites on the internet. Even harmless ones might become block.

And when they are block they might be remove entirely from the internet.

Like this website. In Sopa eyes it kinda remains useless to them. And they might remove it 100% from here. Crying or Very sad

Anyway besides that there is a Pipa act as well. The big term is (Protect IP Act)

But i'm not sure about how much Pipa will do america or any other place this is taking affect.

Anyway I hope most of everyone here will take a vote to take down sopa. And let us have our free will from them controlling us.

http://www.google.com/logos/2012/sopa12_hp.png

Anyway thank you if you vote. And if not then thanks for reading.

These bills are some of the best hogwash to come out of the Senate.

The internet will die and will be left to the corps if SOPA and PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) are enacted.

Ollllo

MMM , still
NDAA is much much worse, because it might affect actual people who can do stuff about things like this....
while the internet is a nice tool to have, it is easily controlled & monitored,
also in case of pesky citizenry all you have to do is cut off power , mess with communication terminals &/or in the worst case just fry people's devices.....

i would like the web to remain the same forever, but with just enough money & brains it will be under control in less than a decade.

to fight this it will take a enormous amount of effort and pretty much a lifetime of dedication, and even then things will shift from one "side" to the "other" from time to time.

Oldyz is walking home today, cuz the buses are full

Well from the information I gotten so far. Sopa act looks like wont be passing the bill at all. We have more votes over it. And more supporter over it.

Now all that remains is the Pipa act. Im not sure how much has people can stop the Pipa act thu. Its pretty much a bigger thing then Sopa from what I been reading.

Yup sometimes it seems to easy when something like Sopa or Pipa go down. And then out of no where they come back with a bigger army.

Oh well i'm ready to take down this Sopa and Pipa act anytime it comes up again.

Olllloooooooo
Sh@t

Oldyz told me about this in some fashion about a year ago....

The ACTA agreement is ratified by the European union.

sneaky little punks , those with money and patents & copyrights -
no wonder the SOPA thing seemed to me like icing on the cake -
worse, this stuff can really be abused in an untold # of ways

In a semi-related thing , some interesting stuff about why the shutdown of megaupload was more than convenient:

Oldyz is being a punk now, because he knew & i did not listen...

So this is why they shut down Mega Uploads. Well I guess they had it coming.

Oh well we all still got 4Share and Mediafire still at its best. Smile
