just some of the guns -
the magsec 4 comes to mind , since it looks very different from the original in the XBLA version -
Other objects like doors seemed to look less flattering in the XBLA version too (they looked way too different from the original concepts)
let this not be an obstacle, when the pack is done anyone can change its contents anyway in case something is not to their liking - |

Keep in mind to apply a texture with a different size you're also going to need to update the ST in models. Due to tmem, you might also have to either subdivide images when applying or play with the microcode to load only specific regions at a time (refer to Ogre64 for an example of loading 'samples') if the images are too large to fit as a whole. Either way, you're going to need to update every single model in the game in addition to the textures. _________________ (\_/) Beware

I thought the hi res packs used the real uvs, so at the final step? That's how games could use 4x sized textures? |

I was assuming the hi-res textures are being hardcoded. Otherwise, yeah, emulators just do their own replacement so no troubles there. Only hardcoding requires model editting. _________________ (\_/) Beware
