You cannot import wav files to play in Goldeneye

Only MIDI files.

How do I get it to show up as one of the Main Themes in the drop down box under the Stage Options tab?

Yeah, I'm looking over the sound tab. I managed to add my music file to the end of the sound list, but I want to have my file play as the main theme for a level in the stage options tab.

that's not really what soundbanks are intended for.
the "wavs" you can import into most n64 games are used as sound samples for SFX and musical instruments for use in a midi track, which is the proper way to use music in these games.
you MAY do what you propose if you can fit it in the ROM but it's not the intended use and you also would have to find a way to trigger the sound somehow, because you won't be able to tell the game to use a simple wav as level track without some hacking, I believe.

I can only think of a single game that uses the simple wav sound sample as music track, STAR WARS Shadows of the Empire, and the wavs had to be very short (even less than 1 minute) and low quality (low samplerate, monoaural...). It's not really the way for music.

Perhaps. Sin and Punishment also does it. If you can believe it, this is how much ROM was utilized just for the wave songs:

00B71DB0 to 13ADA78. If they did midi, they could've fit into half the sized cart!!! They're up to 2 mins looks like.

But yeah GE doesn't do it this way.
