This video was released a week ago, yet I don't see a thread for it? I mean, three certain community members were interviewed for it...
...or did GT just say that to sound more thorough?
Anyway, a shame that they used clips of it, but didn't actually say the name "Goldeneye Setup Editor". That crazy piece of tech needs to be better known! _________________ Pure hand-drawn goodness. |

I vote that option.
Anyways, the Setup Editor does deserve to be mentioned on that video. |

No, he did ;*) The one line was an exact quote.
I forgot to check if it was up this week(ish), with things being so hectic. Thanks for the heads-up!
Incidentally, namedropping the editor might have been misleading, since all of this was done without (ala years before) the editor. That's like providing reference for all those crazy GS hacks and image mods. I remember most of the Sub-provided videos are compilations, so you'd have to have a reference to know exactly what was what anyway. _________________ (\_/) Beware

Coincidentally I got linked to the Mega Man 9 episode of this today, thought it was pretty cool, checked their episode guide and saw Citadel at the top of the list. I love the fact that this series isn't afraid to go into technical details and tells you how much work goes into finding this stuff. I watched them all today and this episode is probably the best in that regard, but the others are good too. Details get dropped, but they still go a lot more in depth than I'd expect.
It is kind of disappointing that there wasn't a good, console quality video of a game being played on the map included. Just a brief glimpse in an emulator. |
