Do you need GameMaker to run this? Or can I run it alone? I'd rather not download this if it requires something else.

Wow... dude, I really wasn't expecting something of this quality.
The graphical style is very simple and minimalistic, which suits it a lot - I wouldn't change that at all.
My only complaint is that I have no way of knowing what gun I'm using, and there should probably be an ammo HUD somewhere.
I actually enjoyed this game for as far as it went

But....err, how can I play it, just using pj64 or something else?

It's not a rom, it's a standalone application. Just download it and run the .exe

That is pretty dang awesome. So simple yet so epic. You should continue this even more. Also some doors were not working as well.
