| I do like EA, but they have had massive losses lately. Me thinks if they do poorly the industry may be taking a hit big time. I still say the gaming industry is on a bit of a bubble. It crashed twice in history and nothing tells me that it couldn't happen again. |

| Could be. I worry a bit when I see them with losses because they own so much of the industry. Their health is pretty important to the gaming industry. It's never good having one company control so much IMO. |

personally im glad if they've been hit badly....they are trying to buy every game, every license around and they are mostly releasing every game these days... i dont hate them, but they're monopolising on everything around, and in the video game industry if we want some originality we need to have different producers and publishers. Personally i haven't seen anything new in a game recently(that doesnt mean i avent played great games lately though)....oh well my 2 cents  |

They deserve it. All they do is make the games to make money, not to be innovative. Just look at all the bond games. The released 50 crappy ones so that we would forget about goldeneye so they dont need to try hard and be innovative. A bunch of greedy pigs.

| Believe it or not, I'd actually like to see EA make their own GoldenEye based on the film. However, I doubt they'd ever consider it. If they did, it would probably be a third-person action game. Which would still be cool, in my opinion. They couldn't use certain areas that were featured in the original, since Rare made them up. Consider Silo, Depot and Caverns gone, as well as bonus missions Aztec and Egyptian. The missions set up for Surface, Bunker and Frigate would not exist, either. But there are some locations that were left out which they could incorporate. The racing scene with Xenia, the Casino de Monte Carlo, Valentin's club, the Grand Hotel Europe, and even the MI6 Headquarters. There's plenty of extras to add in, if they took a chance. I'd buy it, even just to see what it's like. Everything or Nothing was enjoyable, so GoldenEye by EA could be, too. |
