When you text edit you need to save uncompressed TEXT file then download the last editor from vault go to 21990 modification choose STAGE options and see where it says 0000 drop down menu scroll to the bottom and you'll see LtitleE select it then choose INJECT FILE AND UPDATE TABLES then choose write new rom your rom needs to be unflipped so you can use the editor to unflip it too Wink

He can't run the editor yet. Something's happened that's preventing it from launching, and that's a major bug that needs to be sorted out first.

Two questions:
What is the exact wording of the error message?

!!Try renaming geeditor.ini to something else first!!
That loads the editor with default settings, so anything like a bad file wouldn't cause it to crash. I don't think it's that though. The editor doesn't parse the ROM at boot. One of the other files might be damaged, but those are usually loaded on-demand.

Worst case, some file was corrupted that's preventing it from launching, requiring a reinstall of the editor. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

I suspect you have been bit by the "partial download" of the full installer. For some reason the one I use doesn't do an internal CRC check... It has happened to a couple people. Make sure your download is around 80 meg. I suspect you installed a partial editor, so is missing required files. You will need redownload/reinstall, I suspect.

Holy spidermonkey Sub. I didn't realize it extracts at around 300 megs from 80mb :O Just looked at it.
