I was very happy to see th forum back up this morning. Not sure if we were hacked or they did maintenance across the network?

oh well as long as it's not permanent  I'll try to stay logged off too to save bandwidth and limit my download posts. I'm sure my SIG doesn't help either

| Sig shouldn't matter since hosted elsewhere or staying logged in. I guess it's just the total amount of site accesses. I'm not sure if all his sites share the same bandwidth (like shooters, goldeneyeforever, goldeneyeonline, etc). |

My best guess is that all his sites share the same provider - they're probably all add-on domains.
I was surprised to see it come back up today - its usually measured month-to-month and with this being June 29th I didn't expect to see us back up until July 1. |

| I just wanted to note that this site was down for me from Friday afternoon to this morning some time around 7:00 or 7:30AM. Anybody here know the reason why ShootersForever.com was down for so long? |

Glad you're back, I was worried it might be permanent 
If it happens again, and it looks like the forum will be down for a while, is there anywhere where you can post a quick notice to let us know what's happening, say the Goldeneye Vault's front (news) page?
What caused the outage anyway? I thought maybe some moron had been hacking the site or something, it's happened to a couple of sites I go on, over the years. |

No, its normal. The site goes down on a normal basics on its own. It used to be a monthly thing back then. But the next time it goes down, just give it 3 to 4 days. Then it will be right back up in no time at all.
