Hello.

I have a problem

I've dropped my Samsung jet GT-S8000 accidently into the water on the beach.
After a few days I decided to see if my phone still works.

When I power it on, the phone loads just normally and even the startup sound works.
But most of the time, it's stuck on

Then it does nothing anymore. Sometimes the phone suddenly reboots.
So I took out the battery and tried later.
Just a few moments ago, it went into 'Download Mode GT-S8000'

I searched for it on Google and was busy with it and still couldn't find a solution.

I tried it again, and it was stuck on SAMSUNG again and kept rebooting.

I have no SD card in it, don't know if that's needed.
I put the SIM back in but the problem is still.

What do I have to do?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it's stuck in the boot loop. Since you dropped it into water, I presume the rom with the OS is a bit "broken". I don't know if that's fixable without replacing your phone, but getting out of the bootloop is fixable with several ways.

Perhaps the battery went bye-bye? Some phones without them will still boot to show a logo or an error.
