Hi guys.

I found this custom texture project a long time ago and thought it was cancelled. However I happened to find it again and discovered it's still being working on!

It's a French site but there are lots of pics showing the new textures and comparing to the originals. There are some videos here and there too.

Although there are some new textures that I dislike (they change the shape of the original or add/clean dirt with no explanation) it's exactly the way I always wanted for HD texture packs to be, and probably the closest to XBLA.
I love the new Air Force One, although I can't say the same with Chicago or Villa, heh.

I think there's no download link yet, but stay tunned!

It definitely reminds me of the XBLA version - thanks for posting Sogun. It's interesting to see very smoothed out and non-pixelated bitmaps. Though the majority is incomplete, I think they're doing a good job so far on these four levels (especially Defection). I'm just curious regarding what they will do with faces and bodies.

Wow, cool! Close to XBLA version indeed.
When there is a download, I will download it for the 60 FPS emulator I use!

I find it odd that people would spend so much time making an HD version of an N64 game that has pretty much already had one done "professionally" for the XBLA. Considering GoldenEye XBLA was never released, it'd be more exciting to have a really good HD texture pack come out for it instead. Maybe I'm just biased. But heck, a level like Temple multi only has about four images. Even that would be a nice start.

Mr. Grinch aside, their work is really looking nice.
