This is a lower size version of the front box cover, as well as the right red side flap, both in progress. I do have more parts in the works, such as the green side and the back, but you'll have to wait to see them. Here's your first glimpse at the box art for GoldenEye X!

I decided to stick with the "M" rating that Perfect Dark was given, due to the added blood and coarse language used by guards. I can only assume that those were the main reasons PD jumped up from the "T" rating GoldenEye originally had. Unless you count the nude little aliens running about. Razz

It's funny, I pulled the same trick the original poster artist used with Brosnan and brought Famke's gun in much closer for the side flap. The pistol was further outward and wouldn't have fit inside the space. Fun with Photoshop.

Photoshop is a really amazing tool. It's what I use with after effects to make my RIDICULOUS banners for my mods etc. My sigs below were all made in after effects and photoshop CS5. After Effects has better EFFECTS like glows and effects to give text more 3D properties. Cool

I enjoy playing around with text a lot, too. There are some decent options in Photoshop to make the letters feel more three dimensional. Just gotta keep fiddling with it until something pops.

It's a shame that the GoldenEye 007 font isn't quite perfect. It's not thick enough from left-to-right. Vertically it seems pretty good, but horizontally it is a touch skinny. You notice these little things after spending so much time mucking around with the word "GoldenEye" on screen. Maybe just me being picky! Razz

Laughing Heh They should use your GoldenEyeX logo. It's prettier than the original GE one. Easier to see too.

is there any website out there that will make custom bootleg N64 cartridges out there? I known people make bootlegs for 16 bit/8 bit consoles. It would be cool to contact them for a custom run. I'd buy one with box and all.

Would love to see that put on a cardboard box. It would look fantastic.

N64 carts use maskrom. By the time you're done modifying the cart to accept a flashed chip you're most of the way to an EverDrive or 64Drive. I'd really suggest one of those two, and they both have the added bonus of storing stupidly large catalogs of titles.

Incidentally, the N64 has a very low number of pirate carts.
