So we finished moving yesterday and I call Xfinity due to the bloody cable modem not reading the source outlet. They test it , reset it, blah blah blah and NOTHING but an error message. After testing it on another wall outlet the guy contradicts himself and says our wall outlet isn't working. Soooooo all the wall outlets in the apartments are f*cked up? I am so p*ssed because we had frontier fiber at our old place but the managers here apparently rejected a fiber optic upgrade years ago so we are stuck with either frontier DSL or Comcast cable modem. What's even more infuriating is they told me I would have to install a new wall jack on my own if the technician couldn't fix it Monday.
I told them THEY better fix it Monday or I ll tell the technician to take it ALL back and call frontier to come out.

I thought Comcastic was the bomb ? Like megs a sec and super up speeds too
I've been stuck with crummy AT&T since forever (RIP Bellsouth). I got a neat upgrade with them but still ingame latency probs persist

 well they fixed the problem. apparently the past tenants hardwired the apartment all weird and then left a connection disconnected that sent cable to the bedrooms.

If it gets worse we can easily cap comcast. I don't think there's suppose to be an extra space there. Must be a typo.
