Just now while waiting for the 10 o'clock news to start, I heard the PD round end alarm at the end of the new CBC show "The Honorable Woman".

I think I also heard one of the GE/PD reload sounds while watching The Bourne Supremacy the other day...

Just when's the last time Hollywood recorded a NEW sound effect? Confused

Hehe, and here I believe I heard the disconnected Data Uplink sound effect in an episode of Dr. Who. It's where the Doctor is inside of an elevator at a hospital, which also features a decontaminating spray. When the process completes, the sound plays. I'd have to compare directly, but it definitely seemed right.

The alarms I have heard regularly in different programs, as well as certain guard grunts in GE. Hell, I've heard the GE rocket launcher in a movie from the 1950's. Maybe it was "Tarantula". It had a giant spider terrorizing the desert and a nearby town.

I've heard sound effects in Prank Patrol, home video programmes, numerous TV and films where alarms have gone off, even door sound effects!
