Gidday everyone,
http://www.dx.com/p/replacing-abs-pcb-analog-stick-for-n64-wired-controller-black-grey-multicolored-299529#.VMtP3FWUd9c
I recently grabbed a whole bunch of these thinking I might be able to get some life into my old N64 controllers. The vendor threw them up on Trademe for a real dirt cheap price, and while they usually cost $3US I grabbed them all for $1NZ.
Thing is that the buggers only have four wires: XA, XB, YA, YB. It doesn't have a PCB in it, or anything that seems recognisable. The components however are solid, with all of them greased, however they won't fit original hardware either.
I contacted the vendor and he said he sold them cheap because he couldn't make sense of the bloody things. Any idea on how to wire these up or have I just wasted what could have been a 6-pack of beer? _________________ No Mr. Bond, I expect you to be re-coded! |
