Yup I always noticed it. Nice way to use rooms by retexturing them. Then they added 2 new rooms to it and theres a MP level. They had to change it a little like remove the latter since GE does not detect well if a player is on the ladder or not. For us we would be falling but to the others we are on the floor.

I honestly never knew this. I didn't spend much time in the caves portion of Jungle.

I know I did stumble past them years ago, but everyone here knows I've this fixation on the Dam, but anyway: I found that having these areas was horribly under-utilised. They were almost "magical" in their nature and attention to detail and I was always disappointed that nothing equally magical had been done with them!

"remove the ladder since GE does not detect well if a player is on the ladder or not. For us we would be falling but to the others we are on the floor."

Since those shots are from GEX, it would be possible to re-add the ladder since that bug is fixed.

Im really surprised how many didnt know. I cant remember when I knew but it must have been shortly after completing the game and then having a multiplayer.

I looked for similarities in all the mp levels of which apart from those named the same I think caves is the only one based on a mission level.

Temple I suppose is themed closely to aztech and eqypt, but then they included egypt anyway, also thats going down the road of themes which library posess with archives.

Yeah I caught onto this when I first played the entire single player by myself for a couple of weeks. when the game first came out. When I played some Multiplayer with my friends in caves, I started to notice that they pretty much looked exactly the same just retextured.

It is odd as to why they just did not model two different rooms and finish it up like that. Never really figured out as to why they did that. Laughing

I thought it was pretty cool to reuse a section from a solo level, but optimize and change it up enough to make it feel new. TWINE did that, at least with Courier / Merchant, that I can remember.

Hehe, I didn't even notice the shots were from GE-X. That's funny.
