About 4 years ago, I was making a program that would generate gameshark codes for many custom weapon sets. Here's an image of the program:
Is this something any of you would use? I planned to put 500 weapons sets in there. Including ones other people want. This got no replies on the rarewitchproject forum. =( |

Well, Ill give you the curtisy of replying however I would probably not use it personally.
Although... I suppose gameshark codes are smaller than whole copies of roms...
I guess it has its merits to save to SD a set, load N64 and select the set you want, then when you want to switch you reset the N64 and select another cheat set.

-EDIT-
Nevermind, I thought it would be for custom weapons, now that would be neat. |

personally I'd use the hell out of this for my EverDrive 64, custom weapon sets made easily via a program for tournaments would be nice. |

Has there ever been gameshark code to do that for multiplayer? If so, I'd put that in that in the program in a heartbeat. |

I would totally use it for multiplayer with some friends!
-EDIT-
Can I get a download link anywhere? Would love to use it. _________________

I have to start the program from scratch, since I haven't had the source for 4 years.
This was originally gonna be a personal thing for me and my friends to us for "tournaments", though I'm glad at least a couple other people would use this. |

I was wondering the same thing. There was a good one made years back by a member named PaD. It allowed you to modify each weapon set in multiplayer, and generated GameShark codes to use on console or emulators. _________________

I'm actually using that program to help me with all this. The program will have hundreds of presets - might even be a 1000.
I'd like to think my program is more convenient in picking from a huge list of presets, rather than having to load one every time that program is run. My program also had extra modifier options that went beyond weapons. |

1000 presets are NOT handy... Scrolling 1000 entries is laborious...
Presets should acomplish long setups quickly in few options, thereafter its a customisation which is down to the end user.

I should have mentioned that the presets encompassed other things rather than just weapon sets. This is what happens when I don't use the word "combinations" in a sentence when needed.
I would never make a program with a drop down list 1000 lines long...
Edit: Honestly, 1000 weapon sets would eventually hit a redundancy point. |
