How did I not see this thread in May...
Anyway, thats awsome.
I see he was working on Huffman compression at the end, heh, should have asked Sub for help since Huffman was used in GE too.
I also see mention of a Blast Corps Editor.
Thats nearly every Rare game editable now

Agreed - it seems the communities biggest flaw is it's relative isolation within each group. Shame Rare doesn't "just release the tools" but I'd garner the ones that Sub has developed (in cohort with everyone who's name needs mentioned - you know the credits) are probably better! _________________ No Mr. Bond, I expect you to be re-coded! |

heh, yeah, PG surpasses NinGen and C coding by a long way.
Their tools were pretty limited to manually coding everything in C so I doubt their tools would be very much after exclusion of Nintendo stuff.
NinGen
SDK - C Compiler and OS
Flt2C (customised by rare)
About all they could release might be flt2C and the GBI section on 4Tri (not the rest though since Nintendos)
The rest would not be "tools" but just source, models, textures and code most of which we can already manipulate freely.
Yeah, the N64 scene does seem pretty segragated. Those doing F-Zero dont talk to those doing Mario who dont talk to us doing GE/PD.
That said, I wouldnt join a Mario forum as I would have nothing to add specificly to mario even if I do understand Display Lists to a degree.
Same would be true for a mario fan. They might have no interest in GE/PD.
