After many years of absence, I decided to come back to hack codes with Gameshark for N64 just for fun.
I had to change my PC but there is no 25-pin female plug. I bought a USB cable with 25-pin female cable instead to connect the 25-pin parallele cable and the gameshark. (I kept the parallele port) Then I use Windows XP with ViurtalBox as ''emulator''.
I tested to detect the Gameshark with 2 utils (N64 Utils by Datel and GSCC) but it still undetectable. What can I do to make my cables to be able to detect my Gameshark? |

The USB adapters don't work I'm afraid. They are just for printers, not full emulation. |

There's this project that managed to get it to work with very specific hardware:
http://ppcasm.blogspot.com/
The links to the projects themselves are at the bottom of the article, but I suggest you read it since it explanations most of the inherent problems. _________________ (\_/) Beware
