I have created a YouTube channel where I am posting high-quality recordings of Nintendo 64 music.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCtX_wedtZ5BoyQBXEhnVZw/featured?disable_polymer=1

YouTube compresses the sound slightly, but they still sound 100 times clearer than what you hear from the actual game. Later I will post links to higher-quality MP3s along with more songs (I will eventually have the entire soundtrack plus unreleased and bonus tracks) and the same for GoldenEye 007 Perfect Dark later.

So keep up with the channel as new songs are posted.

Fantastic, great work.

Did any of the midis needed tweaks to work? And I hope you will consider releasing in FLAC as well.

Cubase AI 8 does not seem to loop MIDI’s automatically so I had to chop, copy, and paste to get 30-minute loops.
I had to remove program changes since their sets are not compatible with mine.
No software is compatible with looping individual tracks, so in some cases I had to copy-paste those as well.

All modifications were made to suit my setup. I did not need to modify them for any other reason.

I will probably release FLAC and/or WAV. In any case I will release the uncompressed original songs so that they are out there for people to use.

Really intertesting and enjoyable to listen. So much compression on the cartridge, it hurts to realise it.

Seriously those software don't loop. What the.... ?

Isn't is possible that we extend the size of the rom and use better samples ?
Subdrag...if you're bored lol

Annoy beyond annoy.
I got some songs up but the other songs were lost thanks to Sound Forge Pro 11. Hi, Im Sound Forge Pro 11. File access be so haaard.

How hard can it be to write an in-memory file to disk?

The songs you want to hear will be uploaded. After I re-re-record them.

Ha that seems to be a common theme SF. Always a risk when you record with it. Maybe overkill but have you tried Reaper?

Its main point is that its loops closely match what I put into my synthesizer. Wavosaur and other software produce a different result because it matters whether the loop point is inclusive or exclusive.

That's awesome, thank you!

But why the long time? Something like 5 min would be good, so we don't have to skip tracks to listen them all.

Anyway, thanks a lot!
