30 minutes makes them appropriate for use in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I intend to also release short 2-loop versions, but in 3 days my Yamaha MONTAGE 8 will be packed and put on a boat, and I will not be able to make new music for 6-8 weeks. For now I have to focus on getting as many actual recordings done as possible and then I can release shorter versions of those recordings later.

Allright, that's not a problem since anyone can cut mp3 online these days.

I'm really curious about the GoldenEye unreleased tracks. You're not talking about the multiplayer only tracks, right? I didn't know there were unused tracks for GE, can't wait to listen them. Are they "hidden" in the cartridge or something?

Can you provide a link with all GE music in mp3? If they're already converted to it.

Don't we have all the songs from GE available in GE-X, listed under their appropriate names? Most of the multiplayer only "bonus" tracks were really X versions of mission themes that never got used (Dam, Runway, etc), and another was meant for Jungle (replaced with environmental noises) and was called "Perimeter" by the original author. Citadel also has its own song. I am not aware of any not being known by now.

As mentioned, you may know of them from GoldenEye-X. All songs but 3 are already posted on my YouTube. They are:

Killed in Action (2)
Guitar Gliss (K.I.A.)
Wind Blowing

These are sound-effect tracks or short complimentary tracks. All the “unheard” tracks are already on the channel.

Right, by unreleased I thought there could be new "secret" tracks, but I guess these are enough Smile

I'll be waiting for you to add download links in each video, I know we can extract audio in some sites but quality won't be the same.

My files are in uncompressed .WAV 32-bit float format.
Each consumes 608 megabytes.

I will release MP3’s later (when I am not rushed to record as much as possible before I move to America) but I am mainly looking for a way to distribute the actual original files.

My favorite song from any game ever is up:

Oh crap this is my favorite PD track as well! I only ever play this track when I play PD Multi for testing purposes.

By the way, what are the differences between wav 16-bit pcm to wav 32-bit float format?

The values coming from the Yamaha MONTAGE 8 are in 24-bit format, so 16-bit is lossy.
Storing as raw floats allows better manipulation of the audio file, which in my case is mostly blending (I often have to record 2 WAV files and merge them, especially in Perfect Dark which is why each release takes so long) and fading out.

These are not remixes, they are the original songs from the game recorded using the original uncompressed samples.

YouTube compresses the sound slightly, but they still sound 100 times clearer than what you hear from the actual game. Later I will post links to higher-quality MP3’s along with more songs (I will eventually have the entire soundtrack plus unreleased and bonus tracks) and the same for Perfect Dark.

So keep up with the channel as new songs are posted.

Nice. Thank you.

A small bump here to announce a download pack I have just released.
http://lspiroengine.com/Misc/GoldenEye%20007%20Full.rar
All 50 GoldenEye 007 songs in 320 MP3.

Added lossless 32-bit float WAV files: http://lspiroengine.com/Misc/GoldenEye%20007%20Full%20Lossless.rar

All recordings adhere to the following:
#1: No opening silence. Each file begins exactly at the start of the song.
#2: No missing samples. In removing the opening silence, no samples at the start of the music were clipped or removed. The first sample in each file is the very first sample in the song.
Similarly, in tracks that do not loop (Killed in Action 1, for example), no samples are clipped from the end. The recordings last until all reverb has finished and no further non-zero samples are generated.
#3: All looped tracks loop exactly once + 10 seconds + 10 seconds of fade. So if a track loops at exactly 1 minute, the recording will be 1 minute and 20 seconds long, with the final 10 seconds being the fade out. The timings on loop points are accurate to the millisecond.
#4: All songs recorded at the same volume, meaning that if a track in the game is half as loud as another track, it will be half as loud here. Volume levels have not been artificially adjusted.
#5: Similarly, no mastering or any other form of audio manipulation has been applied (other than fade-out). They are all straight unmodified recordings.

Its been a busy year for me. As I had mentioned earlier my equipment was on a boat for a while as I moved from England to America, and I have already moved once again since getting here (not even mentioning that last year I moved from one side of Tokyo to the other, then moved to Nottingham, then moved again to the other side of Nottingham), so I missed some of the later replies.

DF Ank1, K1lo, glad you enjoy the sounds. The samples arent available to the public, unfortunately.
Volkov73, I can make recordings with certain parts removed if you let me know which songs and what to remove.

Enjoy the release.
You can check out the same 50 songs in this playlist on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHVyFE50l5iP5OM2WGjqfm7zDExeoUUN7
