I lost my virginity to Quake way back when, but I hold both series close to my heart (even though UT2K4 was just 2K3 with vehicles) so its a tie between Q3 and UT - Original.

I can't go past Super Smash Bros Melee, its so much deeper and better than I thought it would be when i got into all the advanced play.
And the tournaments we have are so much fun!  |

Shiek, Fox, and Marth are considered best in that order. Shiek because she's agile, Fox because he survives, and Marth because he has control and range.
All others are pretty good, I'm not good enough to know why Fox is better than Marth. I guess Marth doens't have long range.
Somebody needs to be the best in brawl, wonder if it is one of those three again? Can't have it balanced.

Actually Perfect Dark Zero and Battlefield 2 are great for tournaments and multiplayer online in general!
