Hi guys.

I am at importing phase from .obj (Deled 3d) and suddenly GEE show me a message wich contains the next message:

Not supported

Only triangles or greater supported -f 7575/16021 7574/16022

I´ve never seen that before

Thanks in advance.

Also never got this error. I also heard it for the first time.

Maybe you have got some real circles or ovals in it or well I don´t know.
This is really strange.

Be excited what could be the reason of it. Are you sure every surface has triangles?

Are you trying to import clip or something else? Editor can only handle with triangles.

Normal surfaces can be other shapes, but the original Levels have all triangles.

Maybe you can show us a screenshot of your most "contorted" surface ?

If it's clipping, it means you have non triangles. All polygons must three points only. Quads are not allowed. Triangulate your mesh.

Hi Subdrag:

This error is related to scenery only*. My partial solution consist on deleting the Room implicated on this warning and then, Import from Deled 3d to GEE the scenery without the Room (It has been imported correctly).

In Deled 3d I don´t know how to detect what the primitives could cause to this type of warnings/errors.

After that, I need to reconstruct apart the default Room and later "inject" to the rest of the Scenery.

Thanks for DF Ank1 and Subdrag

1*

[File]-> New -> Scale 1.0 etc

2*

[Visual]-> Delete all Clipping, Portals, Lighting

3*

Visual Editor->[Convert]->Convert Model File to... -> Convert Model File to Level (if already added textures)

I have used the command triangulate in Deled 3d during the process of exportation without results in two ways:

At the same time of the edition:

[Create/Edit] -> Polygon Mode -> Triangulate

Exportation:

[Plugins] -> Wavefront OBJ Exporter -> (etc) -> ▼ Triangulate -> All Poligons

Ah your error looks like you somehow have a line (2-sided). I don't know how that happened. It tells you the line in the obj that is wrong in the error.

Garabuyo, open the OBJ with notepad and search for -f 7575/16021 7574/16022, then delete that line and save.

You'll probably get a similar message once you try to import again, but this time with different values. Search again, delete, save and import again until all the messages are gone.

I've experienced the same while working on my Classic Nintendo Maps. It seems some lines were created when the background was ripped from the emulator.
If you are working with Solidworks as you usually do, is it possible that some sketch lines are being exported too?

I guess when you use the triangulate tool in Deled it splits +3 sided polygons into triangles, but can't convert lines to tris or ignore them.

It seems that your Mesh got wrong (while exported)

I had quite the same Problem while I did triangulate all surface.
After the R15 realease this Problem was solved.

After doing it manually, I got a short cool tutorial :

Now with the R18 realease, the. obj file is supported perfectly.
