 |
|
Requirements:
nGlide Glide wrapper:http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide
A graphics card with FULL Direct3D9 compatibility.
Glide64 (obviously)
Downsides:
Perfect Dark WILL NOT work, at least on my computer.
Windowed mode doesn't technically work.
1)install nGlide
2)rename the glide3x.dll in emu directory to glide3xold.dll (or delete it
3)Select glide64 in plugin selection in emulator
4)load ROM
5)go to fullscreen by pressing ALT+ENTER
(Optional) exit fullscreen by pressing alt+enter to have a "windowed mode"
if you encounter any problems reply. I can also be reached at Graslu00's discord. _________________ Playing old, low poly games since 2003 |

My setup can handle a low resolution Glide well enough, but I tried it anyway. The fullscreen trick actually ran a bit slower for me, though I needed to unlimit the FPS to notice it. I need every bit of speed I can get, so it looks like I'll continue using the wrapper. It's always fun to see what Direct3D9 can do, though.
To note, my graphics card is the Intel HD Graphics 2000.
And for fun, what do you consider a "weak computer?" _________________

Tee-hee! ... Er, I mean, say what you want, but I've been comfortably playing PC games up until common minimum specs went beyond 4GB of RAM. My real issue is how I've not upgraded in years. _________________
