I've noticed that when a guard gives you a weapon, it only works when the weapon is present somewhere in the level on the visual editor so that you can apply the 16 bit tag to it.

How do you make those objects not exist so that you cant find the objects anywhere in the level except for when the guard gives it to you?

I know about the "Invisible except for rockets" bit flag, but you can still pick up the weapons in the level.

I would check the safe key on Mishkin in Archives. It may be assigned to him, but not physically carried around like a gun or door decoder, etc.

I'm pretty sure keys just don't appear in characters' hands, period. For weapons, you can either conceal the weapon on your character, or place it somewhere in the stage and make it invisible and uncollectable.

To conceal the weapon, you set its Preset to "Attached to Guard" and set flags "Weapon Not Dropped" and "Open Backwards/Special Function/Conceal Weapon". The weapon will be on the character, but invisible, and it won't drop if they die.

To make it invisible, you set the invisible flag, you already know, and also make sure "Cannot Collect Object" (00100000 left) is set. This particular flag may only appear in the latest beta, though.



I hope I'm correct. It's late again, and these games like to play tricks on me.
Oh, and my info refers to the Object Editor window.
