It took sometime, but I finished up the list of addresses and values. Only thing that may be missing is the actual name modifiers. The ones on the list only change which block of text is used, not the text itself. Also, I know there are a lot more values that go along with it, but I can't remember what they start with. If I can find them, I'll add 'em later. For now, here are the codes. If there are any errors, please point them out to me so I can correct them.

Multiplayer Character Modifiers
Hacked by Benjamin, Duros Bith & Crash Test Dummy
Original Bond Photo and Costume Mods by bmblaster
Corrections and Points of View by Wreck

Note: Not all characters can have their heads replaced or put on other bodies. Certain models were designed with the head and body connected. For example, you can not change Xenia's head without changing her body first. Also, her head is not available to be placed on any other character's body. Please keep this in mind as you customize your multiplayer character.

Included are:
Natalya
Trevelyan
Xenia
Ourumov
Boris
Valentin
Mayday
Jaws
Oddjob
Baron Samedi
Helicopter Pilot
Siberian Special Forces

damn that's a hell lot of data Laughing

ok since i'm definitely much too lazy to convert the data to an ini file-friendly format i'll take it as it is and write special loading routines...

if you ever come to list up the addresses of the texts themselves then please post them so I can implement them Smile

I should begin by tomorrow... today's party
bucket of Sangria Razz

Thank you so much!!! I saw all this on Detstar the other day and didn't really pick up on what each thing represented. I don't know if it was the black backround, their organization or if I was just tired but it makes sense to me here.

Now I can finally upgrade Barney the civilian to be even better...Cool

I know a bit of the history behind this stuff...

A guy named bmblaster hacked out two codes. The first modified Bond's photograph, the second changed his costume. Benjamin, a soon to be hacker, came across his post on a message board. He begin fooling around with the codes, finding new and interesting things. Another gamer called Duros Bith e-mailed him, wanting to help out with testing and hacking. After they'd compiled a lot of data, they'd received a message from Crash Test Dummy. He was also deep into these findings, coming up with new values to be used. The three of them together made an FAQ, detailing all of their modifiers. Years later, while making some corrections to their codes for GE Master, I found the Point of View for each character. Just recently, I went back through the memory and wrote out everything all over again.

This is where we are now.
Fun story, kiddies? Razz

Finding the PoV couldn't be too hard actually if anybody had just tried modifying that floating point number in the char data... Razz

Anyways, status report:
The editor is 95% done.
It reads the data, generates the code.
You just can't save your characters yet, that's a matter of a few minutes to code, but I'm done for now Razz
Oh, and I still gotta make the button look cool Wink
Then it still needs an icon and credits.

The data ini file is ~80% done.
I still have to convert 51 characters' data to my ini format <.<
I tell ya that's the most disgusting job you could ever do...

To sum it up, the editor is fully functional,
but you can yet only edit a few characters and it still looks a bit crappy.

Try this and tell me whether there are things to optimize or whatever:
http://www.acdc-radio.de/bn/GECE.zip

What I'd like to do is to make the Point of View fully customizable (throuh a slider maybe).
The problem is, I don't know how to convert floats to hex and back...
You can do that momentairlily by adding Points of View to the ini file (isn't really difficult, just look at it).

I really like how you used the same format and colour scheme as the Weapon Set Editor, PaD. It's laid out nicely and is very easy to use. There's only one problem I've noticed with the code output. It looks to me like you've set up the costume and head mods as 8-bit, when they should be 16. Jeez, I hope I said that right. Bond's suit would be 0005, not 05. As well, his head would be 004E, not 4E. When you get the output, it sticks them together as 054E. Here's an example from the program...

Character to be editied:
Mishkin

Name: Dimitri Mishkin
Voice: Male
Photo: Question Mark
Costume: Mishkin / Siberian Guard #1
Head: Karl / Russian Infantry
Height: Natalya

Code output:

"Dimitri Mishkin"
8102B1EC 9CF5 - Modifies name / Perfect
8102B1EE 010E - Modifies voice & photo / Perfect
8102B1F0 132A - Modifies costume / Attempts to use both costume & head
8102B1F2 3F77 - Modifies head / Using first part of view data
8102B1F4 5254 - Modifies first part of view / Using second part of data

All you'll need to do, is correct the body and head error. Once that is in place, everything else will be a sinch. Here's what you should end up with...

"Dimitri Mishkin"
8102B1EC 9CF5
8102B1EE 010E
8102B1F0 0013
8102B1F2 002A
8102B1F4 3F77
8102B1F6 5254

Other than that, it's coming along very good, and fast, too! Smile

whoops, then I mistook them as single bytes.
now I also get why each character's data is 12 bytes instead of 10 Idea

I'll fix that as soon as soon as possible ...which is now Wink
I think I can finish it till this evening (GMT+1 though)

glad you like the program btw Smile

EDIT:
OK should be fixed.
Note that the program will leave obsolete lines of code out like
8102B1F0 0013
in your example.
Mishkin already has this costume so the program wouldn't create a code for it.
Saves lines Wink

I'll finish the ini file now

double post so people can see something happened here...

The program should be done.
Report errors if there are any Smile

Would be nice if you hosted this one as well as the Weapon Set Maker Smile

Wow, this is nice. I can finally change my Moonraker a little and put him in the front of the list so I dont have to go all the way down every time.

I'm replacing Natalya because no one picks her anyway.

Top notch idea about saving codes, PaD.
If we can get away with even one less line, it'll help in the end. Smile

You did a terrific job.
The program looks great and works perfectly.
When GE Master has some free time, I'm sure he'll put it up on the site.

This may sound sexist, but the characters I used to modify were the extra females. Scientist #2, Civilian #1 & Moonraker Elite #2. No, not because they're women, but because I've yet to see anybody select them. Is it because they're female? Is this hypocrisy at work? Wreck...a misogynist?! I wouldn't count on it. Razz

No one really does pick the girls, except Mayday because she's purple. A lot of them are almost as small as oddjob, so we dont let people pick them, even though no one wants to pick them anyway. People only seem to pick characters with pictures, or a random civilian. Except me, I always pick Mookraker
