|
|
This whole concept is confusing, but there are two different types of Solo/Multi Codes, No Objects based on Complex, and Objects. I believe The Objects versions have a 59D0 in the begining, here are the codes that by that measure are Objects codes. Those with - 59D0 are ones im not sure about, but do have the correct 59D0.
Control
Dam BZ - 59D0
Dam Full - 59D0 - Does Not Load
Depot
Jungle -Both Versions
Train
Looking Through my codes, I know that Facility and such have Doors and Glass, arent those objects? I need to determine witch of my codes are the newer - ones with objects, can anyone help me out? And Further, were all of the maps made for Objects later on, or just some? Can anyone sort this out? *cough*Shadow/MultiX*cough* |

Augh! Nobody Responded here! Does anyone know a clear cut easy way to distinguish between multi levels with objects and without objects? And were all the levels completed using objects? |

The hacked multiplayer stages with a code like "800375XX 59D0" use the Stack setup file as a base. Many of the other levels use "800375XX 5918", which is the Complex setup. We started using Complex because it was easiest to get any stage working right off the bat. You only needed to correct the respawn coordinates in order to get the map to load. After that, you could run around and nab more coords to use for your items. Zoinkity helped MultiplayerX learn how to use the Stack so that he could place objects. Converting panes of glass into practically anything else. The only drawback was that the props took up a lot of lines to make. This means that there weren't enough lines leftover for items. You'll need to use the Master Control Menu, or other codes, to gain access to weapons. Still, it's really nice getting to see a map like Jungle with a few trees in it.
I don't think every level has been made into multiplayer using objects. MultiplayerX was considering doing Surface and Streets when he has enough free time. Here's a list of stages I know of that include props...
Dam Frontzone w/ Armoured Personelle Carriers (MultiplayerX)
Depot w/ Stacked Metal Crates (MultiplayerX)
Train w/ Stacked Wooden Crates (MultiplayerX)
Jungle w/ Trees (MultiplayerX)
Control w/ Stacked Metal Crates (MultiplayerX) |

Thanks, that helped me out, and looking through GSCentral cache, I think I have a pretty good understanding of this now. Check out this post by Krijy:

OK, that didnt translate too well, but the point is I have a table of the setups and now have a pretty good understanding of how levels are loaded. |
