GOLDENEYE 007 - Multiplayer Name Change Code FAQ Version 1.1

Original idea and a few digits from: Reaper_of_Souls -

The code created by SubDrag and Reaper_of_Souls allows you to change the names
of the multiplayer characters in Goldeneye. Ever wanted to start up Goldeneye
with your friends and be in the spot of Bond? You could only pretend - until
NOW. The codes in the section below allow you to change the names of EVERY
MULTIPLAYER CHARACTER in the game!
----
What is the use of this code?
1. A lot of fun with your friends. Add your names to a GameShark code, so
whenever you play your friends you are "Johnny" in Bond's place and he is "Bob
Dole" in Natalya's place.
2. You know how you can modify the look of characters in Goldeneye with the
GameShark to create characters that look like Noob Sailbot, Bill Clinton, or
even Captain Picard??? You can now add their name to that code!!!
----
How do I use the following codes?
1. Enter the first four digits of the code, which will always be 802A.
2.Then, look at the digits for the character you want and look for what section
it is under. All of the character codes are 3 digits, and right before the 3
digits is either D or E, depending on the code category.
3. Add 00 and then the digit for the letter or character you want to add.
----
What are the restrictions of the code?
1.You only have a finite number of codes you can enter into the GameShark at
once...
2.The codes aren't permanent.
3.The word you enter must only be the same or one or two above the character you
are replacing.
'''''For instance --- "Bond is an idiot" can not replace the "Bond"
character'''''
All right already! GET TO THE CODE!!!
The code is either 802ADXXX-00YY or 802AEXXX-00YY.
Each code section tells you which one it is.
YOU MUST HAVE A DIFFERENT CODE FOR EACH LETTER!
Use 00 as the letter digit to erase the rest of the text on the line.
+++++++++++++++++++The XXX Digits+++++++++++++++++++
- Note, most codes allow one or two text spots after the last part of the name.
Some are written here, some are not. They merely are the next digit(s) in
hexadecimal.
= Note 2, characters with the Same name (ex. Civilian) all institute the new
name when it is changed with the GameShark.

Heh, I wrote that...like 7 years ago, or who knows how long. For reference, I wrote it BEFORE the 3.0 shark, so I had to do all the locations manually. Old email doesn't work btw, somehow hotmail stole it from me. |

Hehe, they're all 8-bit codes. What a handful that would be for people to put in manually. We should all be grateful that they allowed for 16-bit codes in the later versions. I used to mess those up all the time. There's probably countless PD codes out there that are incorrect. _________________
