1000 presets are NOT handy... Scrolling 1000 entries is laborious...
Presets should acomplish long setups quickly in few options, thereafter its a customisation which is down to the end user.

The game can only hold up to seven weapon sets. Not 1000. And to change the text you would need to use image/text mods.
