It is still front and center at the major PC tournaments. Think about how old this game is now. Having said that, it shows you that strategy based games can last forever. I have a lot of great memories playing this game online because it was my first. Even on dial up and a crappy computer Starcraft was playable. Am I the only one here who plays or played this beauty?

Not surprised at all, I still every once and a while boot up the disk and play a few levels. Good times with that game.

Can't wait till starcraft 2 comes out, it looks sweet!

This game was created 10 years ago and it still very good. It must be a classic for PC games. But for Starcraft 64, it's less better than the original.

PLayed it alot back in the day with a friend. I like humans vs comps but I don't play it now as I'm fed up with the backstabbers online who ruin it for everyone else.

I've always preferred Command & Conquer as well but most of my friends play StarCraft now instead so I've learned to like it.

I made a few maps if anyone here's interested, they play fairly well.

Ya, I have alot of freinds who still play starcraft, and a few that still play warcraft. Personally, I've never had the patience for RTS, but I've always respected the genre. (plus halo wars, baby, who else is exited?)

Well, there is this other board I know that thinks it's better at games than everyone. It comes down to style, life is too static/constant to be absolute. Even if you did find it, getting there was just as important.

I think it might be about time to move on...or do something else.
