Is there a confirmed GE demo? If so, that would be great to see what lies in there.

We got the game to work today. We went down to the EB Games near my friend Matt's house, They had a store N64.

The Game is not clear enough for me to get a shot. Is is dark and very staticy. The only levels that work are

1. Dam(Finished)
2. Runway(Beta)
3. Archives(All Beta Stuff is out it; the only thing left is the Beta Glass)
4. Silo(Finished)

Zonkity: There is a weird cutseen for runway where it shows 007 drop and roll on the convier belt and it switchs seens like a movie.

1. Shows bond roll from front
I. Shows Bond Roll From Back
II. Shows bond roll from above
2. Shows pull his gun out while squatting
I. Pans to Him Loading his gun(zoomed up)
3. Then He stands up.

Subdrag: Sorry; But i can't get any pictures the game has terrible lighting quality and it would need flash and it would ruin the shot

Assuming it's real, then get some screenshots, turn off the flash, digi cam or record some video. What is beta about runway? You must dump the ROM, it will likely have early setup files from every level.

Yeah, the best parts of demos are always the unfinished levels that you're prevented from loading normally, just look at the Sonic 2 betas or the Chrono Trigger prerelease. The demo would be worth it for the AK47 model alone, really.

The only thing about runway is the odd Start animation; and that is it.

Actually the Beta kf7 is only in this level.

Yes that is the game. That was taken using a PCI Cable and the Prt Scr button at two in the morning.

Runway is way to dark for me to get a shot. Dam is the only level that featuers the "Wal-Mart Demo" logo. As well as the T for teen logo

Do you have a gameshark? You can dump the rom with the hacked utilities and a parallel port cable.

Use the hacked Datel utilities - they should work with XP, 2000, 98/ME, and Linux. Haven't tested 95, but probably can with the kernel extensions ;*)

You can also try gamesharking the different weapons, or use the button codes. All weapons+max ammo button codes should work regardless region and release.

Otherwise, either Sub or I could dump this bugger in like 5 minutes. These backup devices don't seem to need to run the game pluged into them to dump them.

his brother saw him playing it when he was leaving for work and he walked by the n64 and swiped the game out.

I think other wal-marts have em'. I no the EB Games up my street as a Legend Of Zelda Demo

What Coldshadow? I'm finding this hard to believe...until I see real confirmation. That screenshot you posted is straight out of my wal mart video I posted online... The real game would never have that overlay because the demo would not be for one store. You realize the KF7 would be the beta one in all the levels...not just one. It's a model replacement later. Still, it does give hope that one day someone will find a demo game somewhere of GE. You'd think there have been one.

The most likely way to get ahold of a beta cart at this stage is to look at magazines that covered the prerelease cart. In the past some have made off with dumps, but it is something of a long shot.

You'd basically need a list of magazines that covered it, a list of employees who most likely saw it, and maybe cross-reference with guys known to steal rom images. It's a long shot to say the least.
Otherwise, you'd have to convince somebody at Rare to leak something, probably something specific and likely rather small. Chances of that are slim to nil.

There are definitely beta carts still out there.

the only places I can see having one are

1. NOA

2. nintendo power

3. EGM

4.game retarilers

Seriously, if I knew someone who actually had either a beta or old demo kiosk copy of GoldenEye 007, I'd do everything within my power to get it from them. Killing is a little extreme, but a severe beating wouldn't be out of the question. Well, it depends on how much beta is in there. If it's like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, even all the luck of the Irish can't protect that leprechaun from me. Oh, Danny-boy. The pipes, the pipes are calling.
