Has anyone else noticed that some of GE's sound effects (laser shots, male screams, etc.) are used elsewhere? Makes me wonder if these sound effects aren't originally Goldeneye's.... |

They probably come from a sound library. I've heard the female screams in so many TV shows now I've lost count. |

There's a nike commercial which uses at the very least, a VERY similar sound effect to Bond getting injured (the breathing noise), its the commercial with the football player trying to get the touchdown. |

On a German rap album, in a skit, somebody gets overdriven by a car and guess what voice they used.
Russian GE007 soldier going down, haha!
I'm not 100% on this, but I've played GoldenEye a LOT, and immediately recognized that voice. |

Wasn't that commercial during the Superbowl? |

There's one on now (I'm not even sure what they're advertising, shows how much I'm actually paying attention to it) that uses the rocket launcher sound effect. |

I've been hearing sound effects in TV first heard by me in videogames for ages (specially from N64, since that's my most played system).
gunshots, "computer sounds", doors opening and closing (both normal and sliding), shattering cristal... whatever
As Dragonsbrethren has already noted, I too believe they ought to come from some comercial sound library, and apparently their bussines go well |

The sound effects must be copyright free too. |
