Which multi level do you like in PD and why? (Excludes GE levels!)
I've always liked G5 because of the ramps on different floors connecting the building. Great for making a getaway! |

I like the warehouse because it's not too big and very nice to play. |

While I think Grid looks the nicest, I'd have to go with Skedar. It's the map I've played the most in Combat Simulator, both multi and solo. There's this wonderful feel to it. Great size, layout and texturing. That's the CS map I look most forward to being ported to GE. _________________

I never really liked Skedar, not sure why. I think the best looking map is Base, I love those glass floors, it just didn't play that good. |

This is why PD was great. All the multi maps were varied, and each one had a different vibe, meaning everyone will have a favourite. If only games of today had that magic touch! |

grid, I love all the PD multiplayer maps, except the "ruins", it is boring, PD got way more better maps, than GE, the only better map GE have, is the "archives". |

Didn't care much for most PD maps. Most seemed way too large.
Favorite one of all was a Krijy map. The Villa where you're boxed into the building. That's going to be a GE stage, one day...
As for the originals, Grid's excellent. I've probably played more of it than any other stage besides Temple. Skedar though is what I think of when I think PD multiplayer. _________________ (\_/) Beware

PD maps may seem large, if you don't know them.... let's think about "pipes", first it felt too big (for 2 players", but when you really know that map, you can find the other in 3 seconds, and with 3 or 4 players and/or simulants it really is small map. PD maps got lost of falls and upper/lower stages, that GE maps didn't have so much (think about basement, all flat), that makes the explosives way more fun. Also the play modes work better (king of the hill for example), if there are more room. |

I felt the same way. This topic excludes GE maps but I played all of them more than any of the PD maps and I never really liked Complex or Temple in GE! Both maps have since grown on me, I now enjoy them more in GE than in PD. I wonder if the same thing would've happened if Caves was included in PD... I think the only thing that'll get me to like that map is Wreck's mission. |

It's a shame that they didn't sneak a few more GE maps into PD's Combat Simulator. Bunker ii and Archives would've kicked some serious ass, had they been included. I also would have enjoyed seeing what changes the Water Caverns could've went through. The three we got were great, but it's too bad there weren't a couple extra. _________________

Grid, Facility and Pipes. Those are the maps I mainly play. |
