I never knew there was a version of TWINE in development for the PC:

Graphics look a lot better than I remember the N64 version being, the game itself probably would've sucked just as bad though. Still, it's a shame it didn't come out, it'd probably be much easier to rip the maps for use with GE from the PC version.

I didn't know this. It's for the best anyways.

"EA could not escape constant comparison and scrutiny with "GoldenEye 64" as a benchmark. " haha, shame they never came remotely close.

It certainly did look better than the N64 version, which I can't seem to eject out of my mind, sadly. Out of all the EA Bond titles, the only one I have truely enjoyed has been From Russia With Love. The fact that it's also as different from GoldenEye as possible, while still being Bond + Action, shows that every feable attempt to create an FPS just couldn't measure up to the original.

EA makes great sports games. They really do. If only they'd stick to that...

I remember those pics from before the N64 version was released!

It looks like it would have just been eye candy.
