You can also pull the stream with one of those flv downloader-thingies. For instance, YouTube downloader.

Why would the tank have blown up in Runway?!

Another thing about the watch menu, Bond opens it and it goes directly to the inventory.

I wonder why they got rid of that. It's possible it just saved your last position. Either way, I guess they later decided most of the time you are cancelling and restarting your mission instead of switching weapons by the watch?

Edit: On second thought, it's the CPU Circuit Board, not I/O. Both are found in the first fuel room.

They probably figured it was somewhat unlikely people would use the inventory screen except when they had to. That carried onto PD, which made a completely different inventory lookup system.

You could see why the abort screen is first. When you want to be over with it, you want to be over with it *now*, not after trying to find the option in the menus.

Guess the same could be said for the MP menu, popping up score instead of pause, though pause from the main menu would be a really nice feature.

As for getting it to save the last menu position, that's as easy as pulling the value from player data instead of using the default... If I (ever) have some time, I could look into it. Yet another unused 'miscellaneous' patch.

The guy that uploaded that video is French/Canadian by the looks of it. He has also got videos of GoldenEye Source he uploaded. There doesn't appear to be an e-mail address on his profile...

Some more final shots:



It's still possible to get angles like this with auto aim on. Is it just me or does the gun look smaller though? And it seems to be farther to the left.

Edit: The KF7 is in the same position it is with wide screen enabled, except the beta video is in full screen.



This is where the beta Frigate start was.


The tank exploding in the final Runway. It takes forever to get killed by the drone guns, even on 00 Agent, so I'm not surprised you guys didn't know about this.

Edit: About the sound effects, it's possible they were added after the movie was made, which could explain some of the oddness. It seems unlikely that so many sound effects would have been changed, I guess it's not impossible though.

I can't remember if I've seen the tank destroyed before. Does it auto-explode if it's in the end scene? I feel like I've seen that before, but I need to check. But it actually can be destroyed? What about if you're in it?

Thanks for the non-betas, guess the KF7 is possible, just kind of weird.

If the tank is not invincible, then yes, it can be destroyed. It's a bit glitchy though... The top section is fine, bottom is wrecked like a crate, etc.

The exploding tank in the cutscene is triggered when the player dies and the 'player in tank' flag is still set. It then routes to the tank object and triggers some explosions. I don't think it sets it to explode per-se, but it does go up in a wonderful plume of fire.

I think the kf7 is not just a different "angle". It's just held further ahead and maybe a bit higher; that's why you can see the weapon's butt.

Yeah, the gun is in the same position it is in wide screen mode except it's farther forward. Maybe it's that far forward in wide screen too and the bar at the bottom of the screen covers the rifle butt?

Damn. It looks like they were going to keep that Kf7 model for quite some time!!! I don't see why they ditched it!


Edit: The tank part is an ending to much of my knowledge. I will look at a GE action block list since i am helping CaptinFrost with his depot level.
