I can say with 99% certainty that the bungee was never on the island, that's not the game's style, Bond would have started with it. I'm guessing the only reason they got rid of it was because it did nothing but clutter the inventory.

The only places the lock exploder makes any sense to me are Dam and Surface, to destroy the padlocks.

The whole idea of pickups on the island was mere speculation. Undoubtedly you started with the stuff.

That's not quite the way drone guns work. It would require being an object in order to have a handle that turns the turret and barrel. The one in Dam is nothing more than a background image, and it is highly doubvtful it was meant as more.

The lock exploder was used in the movie to blow the lock to the dam itself. The door exploder opened the door in Facility. Likely, they just opted for something less dramatic.

You can simulate the lock exploder with action blocks. When you 'use' the item within a certain distance of the lock, it triggers the 'destroy object' command.

A door would be trickier since you would need to make it into an object for any chance of it looking right when destroyed. Again, you trigger an explosion when used, and probably untoggle a few invincibility flags. At any rate, it probbaly would never look right. A straight-on door was a much better idea, really.

Is that one of the deleted scenes on the DVD? The VHS copy I have just shows the gate opening (unless my memory is really bad). I'm actually curious about the origins of the unused gadgets, I know most of them come from different Bond movies.
