GAMESHARK ONLY!!!!! (PJ64 will not render the codes properly-Wreck is fixing this)

Finished a COMPLETE list for changing Random's image into whatever MODDED SOLO level you need for the multiplayer select menu. The code will also allow you to load the level like ANY normal multiplayer level:

GoldenEye COMPLETE Multiplayer Menu Picture Mod for SOLO Modded Stages

Example Format: Random? pic and text alteration

Addresses found by: Zoinkity and Wreck

Hacking adjustments by: MultiplayerX

What the codes do:

These codes change Random's multiplayer image into whatever the SOLO image needs to be for a modded level as well as make the LEVEL text it's SOLO name on the picture and in the multiplayer briefing menu. The code also contains an extra code which MUST BE USED to make Random load the correct MODDED level.

Normal Multiplayer Pics - (Will work with or without Enable All Players code ON)

											| Completely bloody wonderful. Seriously these codes make the hacked levels even more like the originals. This has been a long time coming. Wow. So, Wreck is now re-releasing his codes now to include this juicy icon selector? Thanks for figuring this out! |

											Excellent work, Scotch.

Wait for it... But, hehe...

The stage ID modifiers need to be longer. Random's ID is "FF FF FF FF", where as any other level is "00 00 00 ??". First, you'll need a code to change those two FF's at the beginning. Then, turn the codes you already have into 16-bit ones. It'll look just like this...

Bunker 1:

81176350 0013

81176352 3638

8002B07B 0003

8102B07C 0000 *1

8102B07E 0009 *2

8102B074 9CA6 *3

8102B076 9CA7 *4

*1: Eliminates those nasty FF's prior to the stage ID.

*2: Fixes the stage ID with a 16-bit code.

*3: Changes the selected stage name to "Severnaya Bunker".

*4: Changes the stage icon name to "BUNKER".

As you can see, three and four aren't at all necessary. I only changed them because they look better that way. The same could be done to the others, if you wish to do so. Just go through each of the sets, stick in the "8102B07C 0000" line, then make the following one 16-bit. This is very nice to have. As GE Master pointed out, it does help to make the stages feel more natural and not some cheap modification. |

You constantly amaze me. Could you make out a full list of rewrites for all of these? Afterall, I did spend 2 days on this. ; ) Emulator will not change the pics correctly when using the ENABLE ALL PLAYERS code. I am finished with this for now and will come back later. I am worn out from looking at the memory editor. Codes work great on console anyway. Peace, MultiplayerX and thanks everyone. _________________

											| No problem, I should have some time tonight to work on it. I did come across another little bump in the road, however. When you use the Enable All Players code, it shifts the data around. Upon first entering the multiplayer menu, the stage icon changes accordingly. Once in the stage with any amount of players, the information changes places. The icon then switches back to that of the Dam. It'll probably need more lines of code and activators to work properly. I will see what I can do later on today. |

Alright, I went over the data.

I did find a fix for the memory shifting issue, but each code would be eight lines a piece to get it working correctly. I'll hold off from posting those ones for now. Maybe I can figure out another (shorter) way of doing it. Since you've been changing the Random slot into other stages, I decided to skip a step and save a line. Rather than change the image to that of the Dam, then modify it to the proper one, I simply switched the Random icon instead. That took a code off of every set. Not much, but we're for saving room. Even though that may help, it doesn't do too great a deal after I went and changed the stage names to uppercase. It just didn't fit it the way they were. Thankfully the longest they could possibly go was a mere four lines. Rather than keep boring you guys with the details, here are some of the codes...
