Well, this is just some little anecdote that probably won't mean anything to most of you, native English speakers, but, oh well.
Being from Spain and not knowing enough English by the time I got my n64, and there being very few translated games for it (I really consider that I learned most of my English by playing videogames on my 64), there were times that some amusing confusions came to be.
For example, many times, having goldeneye multiplayer sessions with newcomers, when choosing the level, it was very common for them to rapidly spot "FACILity" and say "pon ese, que es FACIL" which means "choose that, because it's EASY". Of course, I realized these concepts were totally unrelated, and didn't take too long after I learned what "facility" was. Still, many of my friends, even after being corrected, used to stick to the idea that Facility was somehow easier than the rest of levels.
Then, in the perfect dark remake of that level, Rare decided, amusingly, to change it's name for "FELICIty", which could be considered some bad atempt for a Spanish speaker to "Englishize" the word "FELICIdad" which stands for "happiness".
It makes me wonder, why they renamed the level like that. Maybe after some female staffer called Felicity? |

'Felicity' is sometimes said incorrectly instead of 'facility' because the 2 words look and sound similar.
So, the renaming is either a mistake or intentional (probably intentional; grammar mistakes make catchy names). |

Whenever I hear "Felicity", I'm reminded of the television series of the same name, starring actress Keri Russell. It lasted a handful of seasons and was quite popular in North America. _________________

A rumour I heard was that the name Felicity came from the character from the Austin Powers 2 movie, which was released during development of PD!
It's hard to tell with Rare! |

I was a little interested why they spelled facility and felicity different but they both almost sound the same to me though. _________________ An Elevator from Earth; then to the Heavens...
