Personally, I've known about it since about 1998 when I read about it in a Nintendo magazine.
Why they're there? Well, there was an obscure rumour that if you destroyed these beakers that it will activate the 24th cheat - which was clearly fan fiction. At the end of the day, it was one of those things that Rare love to include in their games - little things that players question and end up talking about for years after the games release!

| Woah, never knew about those. Actually, I never even knew there were vents up there! I thought that was portion of the ceiling was just even with the rest of the ceiling! |

I never knew that area had a high ceiling. I've never had any reason to look up when going through there.

This almost makes me laugh because I new the vents were up thier in the ceiling the whole time but I did not see the Glass Beakers though! Good video I have to check this out by myself!
