...how often the Wii gets the short end of the stick when a game is released on multiple platforms?
The Wii versions of Rock Band and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed are good examples of this. |

For some it has occured to me that Nintindo keeps releasing the same stuff over and over like Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros series etc. I think they need to come up with new ideas to get the advantage on the competitors. _________________ An Elevator from Earth; then to the Heavens...

I have noticed this.
Sort of like WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 and 2009 and I'm sure if a certain user here reads this thread and my post, he will agree with me. He is evil btw

yeah i think it is unfair on nintendo because i am a huge fan but as for smackdown vs raw on wii it absolutely SUCKED way better on 360 nothing against nintendo but thats the way it is you dont even get to chose your oppenent which for me is a big thing. plus for 360 i get my own entrance music "YAMATO SUITE PRT 4 (KAIENTAI DOJO EVIL VERSION)" short name "EVIL" take it from the guy who plays Smackdown to this day because its the only game i like just as much as Goldeneye plus all my friends on live agree my friends off live agree majority rules _________________ "We have always found the Irish a bit odd, They refuse to be English" Winston Churchill

This. The problem is too many developers are just making ports for it, rather than games that are actually designed for it. The first party stuff is all excellent from what I hear, Nintendo's had a problem with third parties since the N64 and it's really cut into the quantity of quality games on their consoles. That said I thought the GameCube's library outclassed the competition last generation just because of first party and second party titles alone, I regret not buying one when it was in its prime. |

I bought a GameCube when it was on it's way out (for Twilight Princess). I bought a few games, beat them, sold them, and now it's in storage in my closet waiting for me to be done with my (much more fun) Nintendo 64 and upcoming (maybe more fun) Xbox 360. _________________ Pure hand-drawn goodness. |

I think you're missing a "not" in there. The good thing about waiting so long is I got my 'Cube brand new for $99 with a game free and two other games half-off. The bad thing is I feel partially responsible for the console's premature death, especially since I gave Sony money for two brand new PS2's prior to getting that GCN because my first one randomly stopped reading discs one day and I got fed up with repairing it myself every month just about... |

I have a GameCube as well, but my Wii simply makes it nearly obselete. |

The Game Boy Player won't work with the Wii, so that's one thing your GC is good for. _________________ Pure hand-drawn goodness. |
