Start -> Shutdown on my desktop. I had my laptop's power button set to bring up the shutdown menu so I could chose whether I wanted to shutdown, standby, or restart, but I never bothered doing that with this computer. |

Start and shutdown, I remember I used to have bad expierences with my windows 98 because if you didn't shut it down properly; it takes forever to get started up! _________________ An Elevator from Earth; then to the Heavens...

Start, shut down. You should always shut off your computer, btw. Saves power. _________________ "Inspiration strikes but once.. If you're forgetful, carry a pen." -Me |

It also saves money for your electric bill and it saves your memory card from being fried! _________________ An Elevator from Earth; then to the Heavens...

Or if you up in the middle of the night playing Alfa Centauri for about 3 hours and you don't feel like going to start shutdown, I just usually press the power button on the tower. _________________ An Elevator from Earth; then to the Heavens...

More interesting question is how you start up your computer.
I must do it always something like 10 times, my computer sucks,
it always start ups different, sometimes it fails sometimes it succeeds in partial, it is very annoying... well I think it wont take long time till it doesn't start up at all, and then I'll buy a new one.
